Professional Development & Training
Luthercare for Kids coordinates and hosts cutting edge training for early childhood education professionals, made possible by funding from the PA Mid-State Regional Key. Utilizing the best instructors in the field, we cater to the interests of the practitioners in our service area, which include Adams, Centre, Clinton, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Tioga, Union, and York Counties.
Luthercare has also established a large platform of interactive, online webinar trainings that are accessible by anyone in the state. These are not ordinary webinars, but rather involve the learner every step of the way. In addition, we offer Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) for practitioners who are renewing their Child Development Associates (CDA) or School Age Professional Credential (SAPC), as well as ACT 48 credits for those who are renewing their teaching certificates in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
To find a Luthercare for Kids sponsored training, please email Annie Skamangas-Scaros, the Education Coordinator, for a copy of our training calendar. Or, log into the Pa Keys web site at www.pakeys.org, PD Registry, Course Catalog and then type Luthercare into the refined search field. Any training sponsored by Luthercare will be populated on the calendar.
We look forward to serving you at one of our trainings!
