With the new school year upon us, Luthercare for Kids still has spots available in our Pre-K Counts program in Reamstown, Marietta and Annville. The free Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts program, established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, offers a valuable early education foundation for children ages 3-5 whose families meet enrollment qualifications. The program prepares children for success in kindergarten and beyond.
By attending a high quality pre-kindergarten program, children are prepared for reading and math and gain experience paying attention, following directions, and getting along with others. This strong early start in pre-kindergarten means students have a better chance of doing well in school, going on to college or career training, and getting a good job. By enrolling your child in PA Pre-K Counts, you’ll be giving your child a great start toward a bright future.

PA Pre-K Counts is designed for children who are between age 3 and until the entry age for kindergarten; and who live in families earning up to 300% of the federal poverty level (or a family of four earning $73,800). The portion of the day that is funded through PA Pre-K Counts is free to eligible families. Wrap-around care is available at Luthercare for Kids Early Learning Centers for an additional charge.
